Welcome to our masterclass at Battersea
Power Station Champagne Bar, where we celebrate the esteemed House
of Lanson. With its long-standing association with Wimbledon, we
reflect on the legacy of Lanson during this special time.
Presented by Ashley Wise from Champagne
Lanson, tonight's event will feature five exquisite cuvées, each
accompanied by light snacks. For over 250 years, the House of
Lanson and its expert winemakers have been crafting fine champagne
using traditional methods. Family-run since 1760, Lanson is one of
the oldest existing champagne houses, renowned for its impressive
and diverse range of quality champagnes.
Passed down through generations,
Lanson's traditions include aging for at least three years,
ensuring each bottle is crisp, fresh, and zesty, with exceptional
fruit purity. The aromatic signature of Maison Lanson is based on
meticulous selection of Crus, traditional vinification without
malolactic transformation, rich reserve wines, and extended aging
in cellars. As a result, Lanson Champagnes stand out for their
vitality, fruitiness, and inimitable freshness.
